Boron carbide is suitable for the grinding, polishing, drilling, and lapping of various precision components, including cemented carbides, cutting tools, blades, dies, and gemstones. It also serves as a key raw material in the production of refractory materials, high-temperature-resistant materials, wear-resistant welding electrodes, metallic borides, boron alloy-based engineering ceramics, and boron steel. Furthermore, dense boron carbide can be processed into products such as abrasive nozzles, mechanical seals, and ballistic-resistant materials.
